Another Door

Hey ya'll! Just another picture of some doors I just sold to a sweet lady.

They are kinda squashed in my garage, so again, ignore all the other stuff in there!

She ordered a matching set with a base of white paint and a black glaze on top.

Ok, so here are the doors that I currently have ready for paint and shelves.

Once one is chosen I will type "sold" under it but will leave it up so you will have an idea of the different types of doors I can use.

Once I get them done I will post pictures so you can see the different ways that they can be finished.

I took these in our garage as we were working so excuse the mess and the many other projects I've got going on in the background! Ha!

This door has the black on top of what looks like a burgundy and then white. Can't wait to see what it will look like sanded and distressed!

Don't worry about the center boards, I paint them to match the rest of the door. I use all reclaimed wood so they are pieced together.

I'll post finished cabinets as they get finished.

Been Awhile...

Hey Everybody! Yes, its been forever since I've posted anything and sorry for those of you who keep checking to see if I've put anything on here! We've been crazy busy, I've been dealing with some health issues and just life has been happening.

We have started making some super cute vintage door shelving units and have gotten a few orders, which is also keeping us busy.

I will post pic's this next week of some that will be for sale.

Summer 2011

Wow, been awhile, huh? Life has just been busy and wierd and crazy the last year or so and I just haven't felt like blogging. But we won a new camera right before we went to Oklahoma so I have tons of pic's to post and share. Exploring Papa's creek.

We celebrated Beth's bday while we were at mom and dads. G.G. and Aunt Tootsie came down for the day. Beth designed the cake herself.

Next we went to Papa John and Renae's house. Its all about the food at Papa Johns house! The kids become carnivore maniacs!!!

There were Amish men bailing the hay on the land...I really wanted a pic of them but I know they don't like their pic's taken so I settled for a quick one as he drove by. They hire themselves out during hay season.

Jon Michael caught fish out of the pond and then Jonathan showed him how to fillet them.

We have a wonderful family from church staying with us while they are waiting to get into the house they are buying. Kenley loves Jon Michael and he is so super good with her!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We started our Christmas weekend with candlelight service at The Brook Church last night. It was so good to see old friends from there. Pastor Mike did a great job of bringing together the Christmas story and Salvation.

Then we came home and the boys got to open their Christmas eve gift. They opened Papa and Grandma's gifts and Papa Jerry and Mama's cards.

Aunt Court found a great deal on a used ds for Jalyn b/c his old one was broken. Thank you Aunt Court! He loves it.

Its just us at home for Christmas....its been great. Jon Michael fell asleep in our bed with us last night tracking Santa (no he does not believe but he thinks it fun to pretend), so when he tried to get up at 6 something to open presents I was able to make him go back to sleep for a little bit longer. Easy morning of opening gifts with the boys and me cooking while Jonathan helped the boys hook up all their video game systems to one tv box. Can't wait to eat and take a nap!!!
